Details: 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck 2WD with just 101,000 miles on it and just 5000 miles put on it in last 2 years. V8 Magnum, extended cab, rear sliding window.Blue book value is $2000. Selling below blue book because we just took it to shop and they said it has an engine compression problem that we are not willing to fix. So we are selling this truck as is- it is a parts truck or for someone with know how to fix this problem. The truck starts and runs but has acceleration and idling problems indicative of the engine compression problem. There are no other problems that I am aware of- the repair shop did not find anything else.Truck has cold AC, hot heat, towing package, tires are brand new (have receipts, that alone is $750) plus a spare that is in good shape- about 4000 miles one two tires, about 1000 miles on other two. Has a rebuilt transmission done at 97,800 miles (have receipt), new starter (have receipt), passed last inspection. Radio works. Power locks and windows work. Has cracked windshield. I´ve used this truck to haul a trailer full of hay, horses and llamas without any problems. It has a lot of power for towing.Truck has dings, dents mostly in the back, all cosmetic. This truck is fixable and with the rebuilt transmission, could last someone a long time. 2nd owner; had since 2005 and all oil changes were done.$1450 or best offer.
