Details: For sale is a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie 4X4, AT, 5.2L V8, AC, tow package, 4X4, etc. This is a work truck and may be considered a mechanics special, since reverse doesn´t work. The truck runs and drives fine and the transmission shifts fine, except when you go to use reverse it doesn´t engage. Engine is STRONG. 200K miles but this engine will last for 500K! Tool boxes along both sides, 4X4 works fine. Body is OK, a couple dings and scratches around the body, the rear bumper is drooping slightly. The clear coat is peeling at various spots, paint is fair at best. Inspection just ran out yesterday, the exhaust, brakes, lights, and tires will pass inspection and there is no rust on the undercarriage. The tag had to be sent into Penndot when the insurance was dropped otherwise the truck would have a new inspection. If necessary the owner is willing to get the truck ready for inspection then any buyer would have to take their own insurance and registration papers to the garage to have the sticker put on. Front tires are good, rear tires are fair/good. Truck runs and drives good and can be driven anywhere. Current owner purchased 6 years ago and used it for his business, he serviced it regularly.
