This car has been a great addition for our family but since we´re continuing to grow we have upgraded to a Dodge Caravan and therefore need to sell our Stratus. Our car has approximately 141,000 miles on it but still has a lot of miles left on it. We have only driven the car to and from work or school. We took this car on one trip to Alabama but other than that this has never been on a long trip. This car has been maintained with regular oil changes and other maintenance the entire time we have owned it. Before us, this car was used as a rental vehicle where it was also regularly maintained each time it was returned to the company for liability reasons alone. In a nutshell, this car has been very well cared for. This would be a fantastic first car for a teenager! All of the technical specifications for the vehicle are itemized below. Cuurently, it is not running but has been diagnosed with only needing an A/C compressor installation to fix the problem which sells for roughly $175-$299 depending on where you shop. As it stands, our car is at a family member´s home about 45 minutes away from our townhome which does not allow for additional cars other than our two. Block # is 2780930-340-5. It does run BUT needs a fine tunning in order for it to be street drivable. Car is running rich and saturates the plugs in fuel preventing pro longed running. Just rebuilt the edelbrock 1407 carburator. Timing check/adjustment will be next. Has 3´ headers with 21/2´ piping but a full 3´ exhaust comes with it. Details: I have decided to sell my 1952 Coronet. I am the third owner of this classic and I have kept it garaged since I bought it about 5 years ago. The body is in very good shape and the paint shines. The original owner did a restoration on the car and part of the restoration was to have the body dipped in a rust inhibiting compound prior to repainting the car. It has the original motor with the Gyro Matic transmission which is original too. The white walls have less than 100 miles on them. The car still has the original spare tire and jack. It also has the original trunk mat and the original block used to chock the wheels when changing a tire. I replaced all of the belts and hoses and the shocks when I replaced the tires. I have not started the car in about 2 years but it ran great when I parked it. I used to drive it on the weekends but I have not had the time to do anything with it for way too long. This car should be enjoyed and driven. The interior is dated and may be the original, there is a tear in the driver´s seat but otherwise it is in good shape. I know what the car is worth and I do want to sell it so give me a reasonable offer that I can accept and you´ll get to take it home.
