Details: This 1975 DODGE DART 2-DOOR HARDTOP SPECIAL EDITION is a 37 year old classic PROJECT that runs, drives & stops. The Special Edition is a rare model and I have not seen another around NC. It has the near indestructible 225ci slant six engine and the 727 torque-flight auto transmission. Engine runs smooth, doesn´t smoke or knock. Posi-trac rear end and rear air shocks. Odometer shows 63k miles but very likely has 163K. The speedometer cable quit back in early January 2012. I´ve driven it maybe 300 miles since it quit. It was a daily driver from October 2011 up until early February when we bought a newer car. This one came with factory bucket seats. P/steering, p/brakes (front disc) and Pioneer AM/FM/CD radio. It could use a good tune-up, speed/odometer cable replacement & the power steering hose has a slow leak. The front driver´s fender has some dents. The front floor pans are rusted through but rear pans are solid. Some rust in trunk where the spare sets in. Frame is solid. The interior is rough but is all there except the headliner. All glass is in good shape. I replaced all 4 tires (good used), all wheel bearings, alternator, ballast resistor, new battery, front brakes, & some front end parts. A/C parts and a few other extra parts will go with the car. This year is exempt from NC inspection. I have a clean NC title in my name. Car does need a lot of work cosmetically but can be driven as is. I´m selling for $1,250 cash only. Price is NON-NEGOTIABLE! You´re not going to find a better price on another DODGE DART 2-DOOR that´s running & driving with a clean title anywhere on CL. I don´t have to sell it.
