Some small scratches and dings. Larger dent on the rear bumper from one of those concrete parking lot poles. That dent doesn´t contact the body however, just the bumper. Cosmetic rust around a few wheel wells and the door bottoms. Inside there is a worn driver side seat. It has been torn up from sliding in and out of the truck. It has been held together fine for years now with Gorilla tape. Only three of the 4 speakers work. The overdrive button on the gear shifter is finicky. You have to press it a few times for it to operate. The rear sliding window latch lock is broken and missing, but that is an easy fix. The windshield is cracked and could be replaced. I´ve driven it for years this way. There is a broken clip on the upper storage console, so it hangs down just a ¼ inch or so. No big deal there.Condition - mechanical:We´ve maintained the truck well. I´ve documented most everything we´ve done to it. We´ve changed the fluids on time for the life of the truck. The truck starts, runs, performs and stops well. Some things that can be finicky are the following: belt chirp in the mornings when things are wet. That goes away in mile or so. Burns or drips just a little oil, but never any smoke. Every now and then there is a drip or smell of coolant. There is a small drip of oil from the rear main seal. Has dripped for what seems like forever. Has never gotten worse however, so our mechanic told us to just leave it alone. I just put a piece of cardboard under it in my garage, since that is where it spends most of its time. I´ve never noticed oil drips in any of our clients driveways, so I´ve never worried about it. Sometimes when cold it hesitates shifting from 1st to second gear. Some things that have been replaced are both front U joints and wheel bearings. The heater core. The water pump. The brakes and tires many times. The exhaust system has been replaced and I have the feeling it could be replaced again in another 20,000 miles or so at your option. The ignition system (cap, rotor, plugs, wires) have been replaced a few times. I´m told this is fairly common for this vehicle.There are two reasons we are getting rid of this truck. 1. We are starting to update our fleet of vehicles that were all purchased in the late 1990´s. 2. I need an extended cab truck.I´ve been really thorough in the description and KBB pricing of this truck to give you a fair representation of the vehicle and a fair private sale price. KBB says this truck is worth $4600 using their detailed option and condition system, and I´m asking way less than that. I´m not playing any games here and ask that you do the same.This is a cash only sale. Local sales only. Craigslist robots and out of town trolls don´t bother replying to this add. Details: 2003 4x4 quad cab with a 24v Cummins turbo diesel engine. It has a spray in bed liner, line-x rocker panels, bd diesel flexplate, a new Precision torque converter ( replaced about 15k miles ago because of a cracked weld), all new u-joints and XRF ball joints. The fuel filter has been replaced every oil change (every 6 months with Rotella T6). The truck has 225K miles on it just getting broke in for a cummins, runs and drives better then my 04 with 150k on it. Zero rust, not even on the frame rail. Southern Truck in excellent condition one of the cleanest around. All miles are highway miles and it had not even seen a trailer until 215k. I am the second owner and the previous owner had this serviced regularly. This truck books at over 15k make me a reasonable offer! I may be open to partial trade on a 2nd Gen cummins ext cab. with under 250k preferably a 5 or 6sp This truck is in roland, IA but I make the trip to omaha frequently and would be more then will to deliver the truck down there for the price of fuel..
