Details: Van runs well, excellent tires, interior very good, exterior fair/good with no rust. Mechanically, the engine runs well but may burn/drip a bit of oil as I usually need to add a little bit between oil changes. Transmission drips a little fluid; however, shifts fine when fluid is maintained at correct level. The biggest annoyance is the dashboard controls (speedometer, tachometer, gas gauge, engine temp gauge) generally do not work; however, on occasion they do. Details: Up for sale is a 1947 Dodge Pickup Truck. It is a 3rd owner truck. The Exterior is about 90% restored and the interior is about 80% restored. The truck has the original motor/transmission and runs good! All lights work. It has new tires, shocks, and brakes. The truck was painted inside and out in 2009 along with the powder coated wheels. The seat was reupholstered also. The speedometer has been replaced and works! We have a replacement alternator/oil gauge with lens but has not replaced it yet. We are unsure of the original miles but believe it is around 50,000 if that. This truck is located in Staunton, Va. 24401. This is my dad´s truck whom I am selling for. If I don´t know the answer to your question I will get with him and contact you back. He is selling the truck because he does not drive it much and wants someone to have it that will drive it and finish restoring it. It has been garage/carport kept for many many years!
