Details: Up for sale is a black, 1997 Dodge Ram SLT 3/4 ton long box work truck. This vehicle is mechanically sound. I have never had any motor or suspension problems. The body is rusted around the wheel wells and along the rockers, all of which is common of a Michigan vehicle driven in the snow. There are dents, dings, and scratches in the paint. The old business name is still on the doors in vinyl letters. The only thing wrong with this truck is the gear indicator. It doesn´t affect the performance of the truck, it shifts alright, but the gear indicator is slightly off on the column. It was like that when I bought it. The interior is gray leather and coming apart on the driver´s side. The headliner has been redone in camouflage material. There is a Sony stereo system with a separate 10-disc Kenwood CD changer, which may or may not work (never used). This truck comes with a custom made tube-steel ladder rack by Reymar Steel w/torch bottle holders and welding lead hangers. There are 2 diamond plate tool boxes mounted on each side measuring 48´x13´20´(LxWxH) The air conditioning was recharged and checked at a Dodge dealership. Brand new brakes and rotors have been installed all the way around at Muffler Man. The rear leaf springs were professionally reinforced by Beattie Spring to accommodate heavy loads. The bed liner is in fair shape. There is a professionally installed receiving hitch and towing package. Under the hood is a V-10 Magnum with an after market K & N air filter system. The rims and tires are in fair condition size LT 305 X 70R16. The four-wheel drive and transmission work well on this truck. I am the 2nd owner of this vehicle. I bought this truck with 129,000 miles and only put 12,000 miles on it. The truck has roughly 142,000 miles. I converted this vehicle into a work truck for a steel construction business I had. The previous owner said he used it mainly to pull his boat and never had any problems. The only thing I ever hauled in this truck was a 400lb welder, ladders, and some hand tools. I´m selling this truck for $3800 or best offer. I have personally put well over $2500 into this truck. I would however, consider trades for a 2006 or newer 450 4-stroke dirtbike.
