There´s only been 1 owner of this vehicle bought straight from the dealership and I´m just trying to pass it on to someone who could get some good use out of it. It still runs and is a good work horse for towing trailers and hauling other items or for some off-road activities. The tires are all matching and have great tread left on them. The ´98 model was infamous for having malfunctioning sensory chips in them. As a result, I´ve had them replaced twice over the years, but the mechanics at the dealership said that its a waste to keep replacing them because the truck still runs fine even though the ABS/BRAKE & Check Engine lights periodically come on. When the lights come on, SOMETIMES it causes the speedometer not to work which causes the cruise control not to function. Its a 2 wheel-drive with the option to manually convert it to 4 wheel-drive (I´ve only driven it twice in 4 wheel-drive mode!). Power Windows and Power Locks. (**all power windows function properly with the exception of the driver window...the window motor is dying on the window causing the window to roll-up extremely slow after letting it down...as of lately, it takes up to roughly about an hour or two of off-and-on playing around to get it to go back up.) The A/C was charged and fixed back in ´09 and still blows colder than most newer model vehicles. The front seats are powered, but somehow one of the cables under the driver seat was cut causing the seat not to move up or down (it didn´t effect me from driving any, so I never got around to trying to fix it.) Details: I am selling my Dodge Ram 3500. Truck is in great shape and was used recently to tow my project cars from Atlanta to Columbia. Needs nothing to be driven everyday (I drive it to SHAW AFB everyday). It is a 4 dr with the 8 ft bed and 5th wheel. Tires are in great shape. Truck has 2315000 miles. At 227500, I had the belt, thermostats (2), fuel filter, trans fluid (bands were adjusted and new pan gasket), oil, oil filter, and rear diff serviced. It is a 2wd model with the legendary 5.9l Cummins diesel that has the 345hp/610tq engine, not to be confused with the less powerful 2003-04 model. 48RE transmission was rebuilt 2 years ago with a GM servo for more positive shifts. I installed gauges to keep an eye on the EGT´s, Boost and coolant temp. Turbo is flawless, does not leak, shaft has no play and spins up to 40lbs of boost. Will tow just about anything your mind can muster. Fair market value is over $14,000, and trade in is $10,002... Replaced the Fuel Control Actuator as well, just cheap insurance. Billet Aluminum adapters to support 33´ tires...no rubbing. Looks mean.p.s.Not shipping the vehicle, and CL is free so why would I need help selling it?
