Details: This description is from: ´How Stuff Works´: Dodge Power Wagon in the 1940s and 1950s definitely carried its weight. In terms of carrying capacity, Power Wagons were real brutes. They were equipped for gross vehicle weight (GVW) ratings of 7,600 or 8,700 pounds. The latter was achieved by adding extra-cost 1,600-pound-capacity front and 3,000-pound-capacity rear springs, plus larger tires. Standard size for the eight-ply tires was 7.50×16, with 9.00×16 available.The one for sale is a civilian model, and it appears to have once been a Forest Service vehicle. It has a flathead 6 that runs but knocks but is not hooked up to any fuel tank. The brake lines are also not hooked up so it will have to be winched onto a trailer. This truck was taken down to the frame and cleaned with some parts replaced. There should be all parts needed to finish the truck, at least if I remember correctly, and I have a brand new headliner for it. I also have an additional flathead 6 with attached tranny that can go with it. It has the front and rear PTOs and the original massive winch on the front, with non-directional tires on original split rims. All glass has been replaced and the seals around the glass and doors as well. Also the driver side window regulator has been replaced. It also has a new custom built radiator I believe. The windshield cranks open. Its an awesome beast. Details: Here´s what I have, just don´t have the time or money to complete it. Priced reduced again to $1,900.00. I told you it got to go.67 D-100, no bed, striped to metal, shot with epoxy primer and painted 67 color Go Mango. Prior to painting I replaced both rocker panels with the correct metal parts. I have a clear Co. title. This has the original 383, 4-speed, 8-3/4 rear end (I knew the original owner) and a new carburetor . Yes it runs and runs strong. This truck is completely rewired and has a full set of AutoMeter Antique Gauges. I also installed a Scarebird disc brake conversion kit. The front axle has new kingpins and it was aligned by Drivetrain Industries. They also re-arched the front springs. All the glass (front window cracked) is included. I also have all the new rubber for it including what´s needed for the windows and doors. Included also are the new cat whiskers for the door glass. It comes with 6 way adjustable electric Satellite Sebring Convertible leather seats. I have 4 Crager rims that need the centers painted (yellow doesn´t cut it). The heater box has been completely restored and re-painted. It has a brand new heater core.With 3 or 4 weekends of work this will be on the road for a summer of cruising fun. It´s half buried in my garage so I have limited pictures, sorry about that, but come take a look. No tire kickers please, I need to get $1,900.00 for it and I have way more in it then that.
