Details: I am selling my 2008 Dodge Caliber SRT4. It currently has 55,xxx but will go up since it´s my daily driver. The reason I´m selling this car is because I am looking into getting a smaller vehicle.The car has a 2.4L turbocharged engine delivering 285hp and 265 ft/lb of torque through a close ratio 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive. The car drives as if new and the stock exhaust delivers a deep sound when giving it some juice.The color is Sunburst Orange and depending the light it looks red to bright orange, a really great effect in my opinion.Interior is Black on Grey; has boost gauge to the left of the steering wheel; red line at 6,500 RPM; top speed: unknown; glove box has a chill zone to keep 4 20oz drinks cool while running the A/C in the Summer (a very great addition to the car). Front seats provide ample support for spirited driving and also while traveling; lumbar, thigh, and shoulder support are excellent; there is plenty of room in the back as well for up to 3 adults; being a hatchback the back seats fold down and provides a great deal of room for luggage. I have used this car to travel and we can fit our luggage plus our dog in the back and he still has room to fidget and make himself comfortable.Being a forced induced engine, the gas mileage is average. It is rated as 19 city/ 26 hwy by the EPA estimates, however, I have found that under normal, calm driving and a close eye to the boost gauge (making sure I don´t go into ´boost´ territory) I have averaged 23 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the hwy. I´ve seen upwards of 24 city and 35 hwy though average is 23/32.I try to keep the vehicle as clean as possible but I will say: I have a dog which loves to ride in the car and leave his fur behind; I am a smoker who chain smokes when driving (though I´m sure a good detailing will help that and I will consider going halfies on it if necessary); I like to drink my coffee while driving and have a couple spills (droplets, not actual spills). I have not put Scotch Guard on the seats and for that the passenger seat has suffered a small stain, as well as the back. Engine fluids, filters and all else takes priority in all my vehicles.I am the FOURTH owner of this car, have had it for 12 months and have done no modifications with the exception of aftermarket brake rotors to all four wheels, as shown in the pictures.I do have the Mopar Stage 1 PCM already flashed for the vehicle which increases horsepower output to the 300 range and 300 ft/lb torque as well as tune the throttle body response, reduce turbo lag, and actually increase the gas mileage (I had it on the car for 4 months). In addition I have an aftermarket intercooler up-pipe with a Greddy BOV ready to be installed and the block off plate to block off the stock surge valve underneath the car and the APR Wastegate as well. These items have not been installed, but are used, however. I bought them from members of calibersrt4.net I am willing to add these items for an additional charge of $500.I have other pics to share as well. The hole in the diffuser is for a bike rack which the previous owner had installed; dealership and Carmax both say the hitch has been installed properly. Please, only serious buyers and only people who know how to drive a manual (excluding, too, those who haven´t driven it for a while.) No joy rides.As for the price I believe it is fair from what I´ve seen out there in the market.
